Stylist Tips for Boho/Goddess Braids.

Boho braids differ structurally from straight braiding hair such as Easy Braids or traditional hair for box braids.

Boho braids have a curly fiber structure that reacts differently when sectioning and installing. The hair requires preparation and gentle, controlled handling both before and during braiding.

This hair should not be separated dry directly from the package. For best results, we recommend lightly moistening it with water first, and then carefully separating it, strand by strand.

Due to its curly structure, friction during dry handling can quickly lead to frizz or tangles.

How to braid:

• Start with clean and thoroughly brushed hair.
• Divide into small to medium sections, preferably in a "brick-lay" pattern to avoid visible gaps.
• Use FOS Hair fiber braids as a base and braid firmly but comfortably.
• To achieve the boho/goddess feel: leave loose strands of fiber hair in the middle or at the ends.
• Vary the thickness of the braids for a more natural and relaxed look.

How to style:

• Try a half-up knot or ponytail to accentuate the curls.
• Create a low ponytail or a loose crown braid for special occasions.
• Embellish with hair jewelry, beads, or a thin silk ribbon woven into some braids.
• Gently loosen some braids for more volume – do not pull too hard to avoid frizz.

Care:

• Protect the braids at night with a silk bonnet or scarf.
• Refresh with a light braid spray or water-based leave-in for the scalp and lengths.
• Separate the curls with your fingers – avoid brushes and combs on fiber hair.
• If the curls become frizzy, gently trim the ends instead of using heat (this fiber hair does not tolerate heat).
• Recommended use: up to 6 weeks with proper care.
